Unicard’s ITSO SME Michael Cuthbertson is one of the UK’s experts on the ITSO Specification.

ITSO are the Guardian of the ITSO Specification, which aims to make travelling on public transport throughout the UK seamless and easier by enabling smart ticketing technology.

Michael has been a member of the ITSO Technical Committee for the last 13 years (including chairing it while working at ITSO before joining Unicard).

At Unicard he is involved at an advanced technical level with all our ITSO products – from supporting customers to testing ITSO products and analyzing ISAMs.

Outside of work, Michael is a Yorkshireman living in Devon with his wife and two children. As well as enjoying the countryside and all that family life entails, he relaxes by listening to music and reading. He is a regular blood donor; enjoys singing with the Mid Devon Singers community choir and is a long-time follower of Bradford City AFC.
