New CTO post will add resilience and dynamically enhance solutions portfolio

Unicard is pleased to announce it has appointed Kenny Sendel to the post of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). A seasoned industry veteran with over 16 years’ experience at senior management level, Kenny will oversee the company’s software development process and is charged with building an operational resilience that will enable Unicard to continue to innovate, and deliver new products and services for its customers.

Kenny’s duties will include strategic technology planning, and the delivery of new policies and procedures that will enrich Unicard’s solutions portfolio. The technology development strategy will focus heavily on the delivery optimisation of Unicard’s ABT and MaaS propositions. Kenny will work closely with the product management team to ensure that resources are in place to support the company’s product roadmap.

The software engineering team will benefit from his leadership, while his blend of commercial and technical expertise will help to cement customer relationships.

Kenny’s CTO appointment follows hot on the heels of Sean Dickinson’s recent CEO appointment. This reflects Unicard’s decision to strengthen its senior management team to drive business growth and capitalise on new market opportunities. Kenny will report directly to Sean and together they will outline the company’s strategic technology vision.
