Colleagues from Unicard’s Poole office helped to raise hundreds of pounds for their supported charity Diverse Abilities at the Unicard Summer Party.

The September celebration took place after work at the Cowshed venue in rural surroundings near the Dorset village of Lytchett Minster.

Along with a summer buffet and a chance for colleagues to catch up in relaxing surroundings, the evening included a prize raffle to raise funds for Diverse Abilities, the chosen charity of our Poole office.

The sale of raffle tickets raised £330 and, with Unicard pledging to match the outcome, the total raised for the charity by the event was £660.

Dorset-based organisation Diverse Abilities has supported children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities across the county since 1955. Its work includes running a school for young children and teenagers who have disabilities and complex medical needs. It also provides adult services ranging from 24/7 supported living to physio.
